Our Craft

The old-world art of sandblast engraving

A memorial should last as long as the memory it holds. We cut every letter and design deep into the granite itself — not printed, not etched shallow — so it endures wind, weather, and generations. Where a name and dates already rest on the stone, we match the original lettering so the new work looks as though it was always there.

How It Works

Four steps to a lasting legacy

A calm, guided process — you approve every detail before we ever touch the stone.

1

Consultation

We talk through who you are honoring, the stone, and the wording — with care and no pressure.

2

Design & Proof

We lay out the lettering and artwork and send you a proof to approve before any stone is touched.

3

Sandblast Engraving

Your approved design is masked, stenciled, and precision-blasted deep into the granite.

4

Finish & Install

Lettering is painted or left natural, then finished at our shop or on-site at the cemetery.

In Their Words

Families we've helped

They added my father’s date right at the cemetery and matched the original lettering perfectly. You cannot tell it was done years apart.

A. Whitfield

Companion monument lettering

The rose they etched for my wife’s marker was more beautiful than I imagined. Kind people who treated us with real respect.

R. Delgado

Custom artwork & etching

Our family stone was black with age. They cleaned and re-lettered it and it looks brand new. Worth every penny.

Frequently asked questions

Can you add lettering to a headstone that is already at the cemetery?

Yes. On-site cemetery lettering is one of our specialties. We bring our equipment to the gravesite and add dates, names, or inscriptions to an existing monument without removing the stone.

What is sandblast engraving, and why does it last?

A rubber stencil of your design is applied to the stone, and an abrasive is blasted through the openings to cut the letters and artwork deep into the granite. Because the design is cut into the stone rather than printed on it, it endures for generations.

What materials can you engrave?

We work primarily with granite and marble — the standard for lasting monuments — and can also engrave a range of stone for markers, signage, and memorials.

Do you help design the artwork and wording?

Absolutely. We help you choose fonts, layout, symbols, and artwork, then send a proof for your approval before any engraving begins.

How do I get started and get a price?

Reach out through our contact form or give us a call. Tell us a little about the monument and what you need, and we will follow up with guidance and a quote.
